Lydia and George are my great grandparents. I have ten names of their children - one being Jennie Somers who married Matthew Gaffney - they are my grandparents. I am having trouble also, going back further than Algernon. Lydia's brotherJacob H Myers 1841=1920 invented the first voting machine in 1892 in Lockport, NY. Myers automatic booth....Jacob was from Algernon's first wife Mary Catherine (Barbara's sister). If I find any more info, I will let you know.
