I recently read a fairly long section on George J. Myers/Catherine (Myers) Myers in Henry Storey's three volumes on the History of Cambria County. He has a John B. b. 1795, father of George J b. 1820,who was the father of Thomas b. 1858 d. 1875. I found this book on microfiche in the Dallas main library. I have been searching for the county of origin for Fred Myers (probably born in the 1790's) father of Michael Martin Myers m. Mary Ann MacFarland whose parents were from Ireland. Michael was born in Pennsylvania in 1820. The 1880 census lists his father as being born in PA. I have been searching for the country of origin of the Myers. I have quite a bit of information on Michael, but have only his father's name. Michael's children were Sara J. b. 1846, John b. 1848, Tabitha (Bertha b. 1851 m. Augustine Flanagan,- moved to Tecumseh, NE (my ggrandparents) Lucy m. McCoy b. 1857 Ella m. Kuhn b. abt. 1861 James B. (Blair) b. 1866 Rebecca Myers b. abt 1856, Minnie Florence m. Frank Lovell b. abt. 187=69 Nephew: J.W. Myers b. 1852. Michael and Mary Ann are buried the Lutheran Cemetery in Glasgow.\,PA
