My husband's grandmother was Anne Pairlee "Patsy" Meyers Howington, her parents were William Marion and Martha Ann Williams Myers, William Myers parents were Marcus Lafayette and Martha Smith. Marcus was Thomas Massey and Jane Owens son, Thomas Massey Myers lived in Choctaw country called Oktibbeha area close to the Choctaw Bounty line, he also spoke both Choctaw and Cherokee. Massey's parents were John (Carroll?) Myers and Frances ? --haven't been able to successfully go back any further. If you have anymore info, please share it with me. Thanks!
