Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Hi2.2ACIB/3056.1.2.1.1.1.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: You could be related to my Myers, but it would have to be a little more distant. The only common names in the children of Philip J. Myers and yours are George and Christiana, which is a female version of Christian, and that is too little to really prove anything. However, both being from Easton is a good sign of connection. Since I know nothing else of Philip's father or other history, it's impossible to say at this time what the connection is, at least from my perspective. Do you know that your Christian fought in the war, or are you just guessing that the two are related? I would suggest that if the information doesn't jive, it's probably a coincidence. I have run into some seemingly unlikely coincidences in my research. There were a ton of Myers in Pennsylvania, so it might not be the same person. For the record, the children of Philip J. Myers are: George Mack Myers, Henry Myers, Maria Anne Myers, Reuben Jacob Myers, Elizabeth Myers, Caroline Myers, Margaret Myers, John Myers, Priscilla Myers, Norman Myers, William P. Myers, Lydia Myers, Christiana Myers, Ellen Myers and Rachel Myers.
