This cemetery was not maintained and many of the gravestones had broken or fallen over on the ground. Daniel Myers, a farmer born in Pennsylvania around 1799, appeared in the 1850 census of Shawnee Township with the following members of the household: Jane, age 59, born in NC, Nancy, age 29 born in Ohio, William Myers age 22, born in Ohio, and Jacob Roth, age 10, born in Indiana.
