My gg grandfather was Howard Smith Myers son of a Christian B. Myers and Catherine Smith from Easton. Christian's civil war registration card on the archives web site says he was born in Greenville, but I am skeptical. He served in the 51st Infantry out of Easton, and the family story is that they were "Pennsylvania Dutch", who I thought were only in Eastern Pennsylvania, not Western, but I could be wrong.
