She was b. approx. 1848 somewhere in Pa. She m. Samuel Clapper. Where or when, I don't know. They had nine children, Bertha, Harry, Herbert, Jacob, John, Lillian, Effie Mae and Flora Kate (my grandmother). They lived in Pa.,as far as I know in Blair Co. till the 1880 census In the 1880 census they lived in Wisconsin, in 1890 veterns census they were in La., in the 1900 census they were in Ill. Some children were born in Pa.,Ill., and Wis. I have nothing on Marys' parents or siblings. Any help is much appreciated. Maxine
