Myers from Easton fought in the civil war. Here is a link to the archives page with his registration card. The age on it matches up with a Christian B. Myers in the 1860 Census. My gg grandfather Howard Smith Myers death certificate places him in this household by age and by mothers name. The death certificate does say his fathers name was Christopher Myers from Easton but I find no Christopher of the correct age in Easton during this time period in the Census. I am convinced the death certificate is unreliable in regard to Howards father's name and I am convinced that the Christian listed in the 1860 census in Easton is my Howard's father. Now as for that link.... http://www.digitalarchives.state.pa.us/archive.asp?view=ArchiveItems&ArchiveID=17&FL=M&FID=1336378&LID=1336427 Heres my big problem. The Christian listed in the archive file was born in Greenville....all the way across the state, I am sure this is the same Christian that I am looking for and I suppose that his mother could have just been visiting someone when she gave birth to him (there were more Myers in Greenville I think). The Christian you list is born 4 years later than the one in the Census, but I suppose could be the correct one. I will have a look and see if Lancaster County is anywhere near Northampton.....Let me know if you find anything in your records. Thanks for the help. Dan
