I've "rescued" an old photograph of Cora EMERY which was taken at the Cawthon Studio in Albina, OR in the 1880's. Cora appears to be in her teens at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Cora and her family: Cora May EMERY was b. 15 May 1869 in Cameron, MO to parents Stephen EMERY (1832-1917) and Phebe MOUNTAIN (1845-1910). Cora was one of 6 children born to the couple including, Sarah Alice; Cora May; William Alfred; John Nelson; George Freeman; and Mabel EMERY, all born between 1865 and 1882. Cora married twice, once to Charles FLECKENSHEIN (b. 1863) with whom she had a son, Fred b. 1894. She was also married to Charles Levi MYERS or MEYERS (1868-1941). Cora died 17 Jan 1947 in Seaside, OR. I am hoping to locate someone from Cora's family so that the photograph can be returned to their care.
