Garling Mary Ann was the second of the five children of Jacob, son of emigrant Jacob Garling, and Mary Garling. She is buried beside her husband Christian and his second wife, Mary Ann Morter, in the Montgomery Brethren in Christ Cemetery. Her tombstone reads: MARY A.; W/O Christian Myers; died 26 Sept. 1876; aged 32yrs., 4 mos., & 1 day.
