I have been searching for the ancestry of Michael Martin Myers, my gggrandfather. I am especially interested in the country of origin of this family. His father was born in PA. I believe his name was Fred. Article about death in Mountaineer-Herald, page 3, column 3, September 1889 Michael Myers, a well-known and highly respected citizen and farmer of this township, died Saturday morning after years of intense suffering from cancerous affections in the stomach and bowels; he was a model man in principle and seemed to have no enemies. He was a member of the Lutheran church at Glasgow, and leaves a wife and a large family of which nearly all are married to mourn his sad l oss.
