Robert Jacob MYERS listed below is the younger brother of my great-grandfather, Henry MYERS of Adams County, PA: Robert Jacob MYERS born Dec. 19, 1867 in Adams County, PA, married Carrie E. (maiden name not known) born in English Canada (father born in Maryland and mother in Canada), and died Nov. 20, 1938. The couple married about 1890 and lived in Washington, District of Columbia. Buried Cedar Hill Cemetery, Prince Georges Co., MD. Children: Robert Jacob MYERS, Jr. born about 1892 in Adams County, PA Hilliard Coral MYERS born 16 Aug. 1895 in Maryland Dorothy MYERS born about 1899 in Maryland Brayton Omar MYERS born about 1902 in Maryland Gordon W. MYERS born May 28, 1908 in Maryland and died Sept. 4, 1998. Robert J. MYERS, Jr. married Mabel (maiden name not known--she was born in MD) and they were divorced before the 1940 census as he is living with his mother in DC where he is a cabinetmaker. I don't know if they had any children. Hilliard C. MYERS married Edna W. WILLIAMSON and had two children: George H. born about 1922 and Betty Lou born about 1930. Hilliard MYERS died on 5 June 1955 (obit Washington Post) and is buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Edna W. MYERS was born June 19, 1895 and died Jan. 5, 1990 according to the SSDI. Dorothy MYERS married Robert Bates WARREN born in AL. They lived in Bethesda, Montgomery County, MD in 1930 where R. Bates was a builder. They had a son Roberts Bates WARREN Jr., 4 and 1/2 years old on the 1930 census and age 14 in 1940. Born DC. Brayton Omar MYERS married Martha (maiden name not known---she was born in West Virginia). Brayton MYERS attended Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, and became a medical doctor. On the 1940 census the family was living in DC and had one son named "Deain" age 11 who was born in West Virginia. Brayton MYERS predeceased his brother who died in June 1955. Gordon W. MYERS married Adelia W. WARMAN. She was born Sept. 9, 1907 and died Sept. 15, 2001. Gordon and Adelia MYERS moved to Vero Beach. FL. In 1940 they were living in Mt. Ranier, Prince Georges Co., MD.
