The will of the Jacob Myers in Lincoln Co. KY, posted now on the Lincoln Co. KY site, proves that the info in Wells' and Ferguson's books was incorrect. The Jacob Myers with all the land, who lived in Lincoln Co. KY, was not the Jacob Myers who drifted into Cumberland Co. Cumberland Co. Jacob actually acquired a small land grant in Cumberland Co.(land - later in the possession of one of his sons) after the will of Lincoln Co. Jacob was probated. Evidently neither Wells or Ferguson realized how many Jacob Myerses there were. Gale
