She was probably residing with her daughter Barbary Robertson [Roberson] at the time of her death. >From Morgan County, Georgia, Will Book "B", page 230, Dr. 41, Box 46 "I, Margaret Miers of County of Morgan and State aforesaid...to Barbary Robertson, wife of Henry Robertson of said County and State, decd., my dearly beloved daughter...notes...(one to Abraham Miers). Signed Margaret (X) Miers 14 Jan 1828. Recorded 10 Jan 1828." page 230 "Probate Court, Morgan County, Georgia, State of Georgia. In the Name of God, Amen, I, Margaret Miers, of the County of Morgan and State aforesaid being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be given unto God, calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing it is appointed for all men to die, do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament, that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul unto the hands of Almighty God that gave it, and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian burial at the discretion of my Executirix nothing doubting but at the General resurrection I shall become the same again, by the Almighty Power of God and as touching such wordly estate wherewith it shall please God to bless me with in this life I give and demise and depose of the same in the following manner and form. First, I give and bequeath to Barbary Robertson, (wife of Henry Robertson of said County and State deceased) my dearly beloved daughter Two Notes of hand, one on John Hollis for one hundred dollars bearing date 20 day of January in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and twenty four and made payable two days after date both of described Notes made payable as aforesaid to myself and both of described Notes made payable as a foresaid to myself and on proven accounts on the Estate of Henry Robertson, dec. for One Hundred Dollars cash lent this said Henry Robertson in his lifetime amounting to Three Hundred Dollars besides interests. I also give the same to my beloved daughter Barbary Robertson the forementioned Notes and accounts whom I choose, Constitute, make and ordain the sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament to be hers freely to be possessed and enjoyed. And I do hereby utterly disallow, revoke and disannull all and every other former Testaments, Wills, Legac! ies, Bequests, and Executors by me in any wise before named, willed and bequeathed, ratifiying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament. In writing whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty eight day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Seven. Signed, sealed, published, pronounced and declared by the said Margaret Miers as her Last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our hand.
