Surnames: Moyer, Myers, Bostick, Bostic Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Hi2.2ACIB/6330 Message Board Post: I am looking for any information concerning the family of Henry Moyer/Moyers/Myers and his wife Anna Margareta Bostick/Bostic who came from Lancaster County, PA to Sandusky County, OH about 1820, give or take a few years. There is some evidence they were in New York before arriving in Ohio. Henry Moyer was born about 1782 and changed the spelling of his name to "Myers" at an unknown date. He died 29 Dec 1839 in Sandusky County, Ohio. Henry's first wife was "Maria," about whom nothing is known. HIs second wife Anna Margareta Bostick (known as "Margaret") was born in 1797 in Lancaster County, PA and died 16 April 1891 in Ballville, Sandusky County, Ohio. Henry and Margaret had several children, not all of whom are proven: Henry born 1816 died 1822, Emanuel born 1817 died 1895, Mary or Maria born about 1819, John H. born 1821 died 1903, Elizabeth born 1823 died 1889, Benjamin born 1825, Adaline born 1826, and David born 1831. I am interested in corresponding with anyone concerning this family. Apparently there was another Myers family in the same area, but they were from Germany. The family I'm interested in came from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in the early 1800's. Any help appreciated. Nancy
