Myers Sr., 81, passed away Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. Donald was born April 5, 1933, in Youngstown, Ohio (Mahoning County) a son of John and Isabelle Welsh Myers. He was a pipe fitter for many years at Wean United and worked in maintenance at the Maronite Center in Youngstown, OH. Donald enjoyed playing golf. His wife, Mary Myers, whom he married in 1972, passed away in 2005. He will be sadly missed by his children, Vicki Parker of Villa Rica, Ga., Donald C. (Dee) Myers Jr. of Jackson, Tenn., Linda Nagel of Niles, Cindy Corn of Villa Rica, Ga., and John (Sandy) Myers of Canton, Ohio; stepdaughter Angie (Dan) Lewis of Hubbard, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. He also leaves his best friends, Joe Davis and Bill Myers. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife and sons-in-law Jerry Parker and John Michael Corn. Donald will be laid to rest at Lake Park Cemetery . There are no calling hours or services. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home in Hubbard.
