I'd like to know a bit more about this. My maiden name is Myers, and because of a plethora of Henry Myers' being in existence, we keep hitting brick walls. However, my great-uncle James Setser Myers was a boat builder in his youth, and a lot of my Myers line had a lot to do with boats in general. My Dad, Forrest Myers, was born and raised right on the Ohio River, and has a youth worked on the boats before joining the Army. As for Spotswood, he kept members of my mother's side of the family indentured for over a decade in the Germanna Colonies. And I'm finding more and more connections "that far back" between my mother's side of the family and my Dad's side of the family. I'm turning out to be my own cousin. And my family tree is starting to resemble that graphic they use to show DNA ::grin:: -- Would be interested in further conversation with you about this, maybe you can assist me in breaking down that brick wall -- my e-mail address is debmckay@bellsouth.net Looking forward to hearing from you!
