In 1850 he lived in Brownstown, Jackson Co IND; 1860 in Bogard Twp, Daviess Co IND as Antony Miers; 1870 Grasshopper Falls, Jefferson Co KS as Anthony W Myres on 80 acres; 1875 Delaware Twp, Jefferson Co KS; 1880 same; 1885 same; and died on 30 Jun 1895 in Valley Falls, Jefferson Co, KS and is buried at Rose Hill Cemetery, Valley Falls KS. His son Chrstopher Columbus Myers is my ggrandfather; his grandson Murrell Sandford Meyers/Myers/Myres then his great grandson Lloyd Murrell Myers is my dad. Anthony W Meyers married a widow Rebecca Janes whose husband, best I can figure was John Janes b 1818 NC, married to Rebecca Durham on 06 Jan 1848, died IND 1850 IND. It appears her maiden name was probably Durham. Anthony W Meyers was married once (maybe twice) before Rebecca to Lucinda Beem 27 May 1843 in Jackson Co IND. T! hey had 3 children.
