The witness was Annie Dennis Myers, whose father testified he shot James Otis Myers, 37, in a momentary fit of insanity on April 20 1934. Dennis, 43, testified that he shot Myers after he had gone to the latter's dry cleaning establishment to talk to himn about relinquishing all right to a daughter born to Annie a few months after she married Myers. from AL death record James Otis Myers was the son of Lemuel and Mary Russel MYERS.
