I have known about your George Myers born in 1818. My George was born in December, I believe that your George was born another month in 1818. I sure would love to find out that your George was also born in December though. I visited the grave of my George W. Myers to confirm his birth date. He moved to Occoquan and Woodbrige Va. in about 1859 and died there in 1873. Do you have the death date of your George?

George Singery Myers was the son of Henry Myers and Mary Sarah Stroble. Henry Myers was the son of George Myers and Elizabeth Singree. Needless to say, this is part of my line. My geat grandfather was Adam Morris Myers from Pennsylvania. He apparently was the Foreman of a logging camp in Empire Township around the mid to late 1800's. I cannot find Empire Township, although I have come across many photos and articles on Logging camps in PA during that time. I would appreciate hearing from anyone with information about Adam Morris Myers.

Myers from PA and decided to add one more. He was my great-grandfather. He was born on 2 March 1892 in Big Tree, Green Co., PA and died in Oct 1966 in WV. His parents were Andrew Myers (b. Mar 1855 in PA; d. bef 1910 in WV) and Emmaline Jane Duncan (b. Jul 1864 in PA; died 19 Apr 1929 in Wetzel Co., WV). George W. had a relationship with Hazel Almeta Nice (b. 8 July 1894 in WV; d. 14 Nov 1918 in WV) that resulted in the birth of my grandmother, Mildred Virginia Myers (b. 12 Jul 1913 in Moundsville). Hazel's parents were Joseph A. Nice (b. abt 1853 in WV; d. 1915 WV) and Alice Jane Shoup (b. 1873 in WV; died 23 Mar 1946 in Marshall Co., WV). After Hazel died during the flu epidemic, George married someone named Nelly M. (No info on her). They had at least 4 children all born in WV: Emma B. Myers b. 1924 George Washington Myers, Jr. b. 4 Dec 1925; d. 26 Nov 1987 in WV Lloyd J. Myers b. 1928 Earl Myers b. 1930 They could have had more children. I'd love to hear from anyone related to or having knowledge of any of the above names. Thanks! dee

I have been through all my records to look for any relationship and cannot find any. My George was born in 1879, son of John W., born approximately 1846. I did look for your George a little bit. I found him in 1870 PA Cambria Co, twp of Gallitzin, P.O. Summersit, page 24 & 25. I'm pretty sure that's him. There were also a George Myers and Jacob Myers in Lycoming in 1820 with children under 5. I would try to do a little research on these two families to discount them or findthat they are family. Good luck with your line. If I find anything else I will let you know. LaBeth

According to the 1915 Wise Twp., Land Records, Noah owned 40 acres there. In 1920 Census, they were still living in Wise Twp., Isabella County, Michigan. And again in the 1931 Farm Ownership Plat Book, Isabella Co., Wise Twp., the land is recorded under Ida's name only. Any help would be appreciated.

I can tell you off the top of my head that her maiden name was Belle or Bell. She is listed in one of the Census' as "Lotte". She was born prior to 1870 and died in 1935. She was from New Jersey and she married my gg grandfather Howard Smith Myers from Easton, PA. you can email me if you have any more questions. Howard may have had a daughter or grandaughter named Charlotte too. I will have to look to confirm.

My great-great grandfather was George W. Myers who was born in PA in December of 1818. According to the census, his father was also born in Pa. which puts the family there early. I have not been able to idenify his parents or siblings. He was living in Muncy, Lycoming Co., Pa in 1850.

    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Charles MYERS which was taken at the Hubley Studio in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Charles likely about 5-6 years old at the time. In addition to his name someone has written "son of Jacob MYERS" on the back of the photograph. I'm hoping to locate someone from this MYERS Family so that this precious old photograph can be returned to the care of family. All I have at the moment is my grandparents names. Floyd Herbert Myers and Gladys Myers (Golden) They lived in Fulton County Pensylvania. Gladys died in 1985 and I'm not sure when Floyd died.
