I have limited info on the Leeds Myers beyond the 1860s as Ive not found anyone who has either researched the family or who can provide a connection. The family lived in Bell and Brewery Sts in 1841 and Francis and Sarah had moved to Kirkstall Rd Headingley in 1851. I believe John Myers married a Charlotte Bullock in 1856 in Leeds. Beyond that its difficult to establish children off the indexes without any indication as to who the parents are. John lived in Charles St Quarry Hillin 1861and High St Leeds in 1871. He is listed as a rag merchant

Father Francis, mother Sarah nee Slingsby and children Samuel, Mary, Martha, James, Sarah, Ann, Francis, Joseph, George and John. All mill workers with the early children born in Cumberland before moving back to Leeds. Sarah Myers was sent to Australia in 1844. James married Sarah Nutter in 1841 and was living in Lissley Fold Leeds in 1861

He is an active Republican, and has attended conventions and league meetings frequently. Mr. Myers was president of the Oregon World’s Fair Commission, which achieved the remarkable record of making a fine display and yet turning back a portion of its appropriation. I have Myers ancestors from PA, OH & WV. The ones from PA are mostly from Greene County. For example: Andrew Myers b. abt 1801 in Ohio; d. 8 June 1883 in (prob Greene Co.) PA. He and his wife Easther had 8 children, including Andrew Myers b. March 1843 in Greene Co., PA; died 29 Apr 1908 in Cameron, WV. He married Emmaline Duncan (b. July 1855 in PA; died 19 April 1929 in Wetzel Co., WV) and they had 13 children; born in Aleppo, Greene County, PA. Is any of this familiar to you?

I do not have any collaberation for this as of yet, but I have posts on others web sites querying this information. Apparenly, they are buried in the same cemetary and I plan on visiting that cemetary this year (next month).
