I notice that all lists were migrated with the lists set to REPLY TO LIST by default rather than retaining the original settings the list admins had selected for their lists. This list was previously set to REPLY TO SENDER but I'm going to give the REPLY TO LIST setting a trial run and not change it just yet. It generally works for smaller or less active lists while the REPLY TO SENDER setting is best for lists that get a lot of traffic. So let's give REPLY TO LIST a chance. I did want to alert you all to this change so that you would not inadvertently click on REPLY and send what was intended as a private reply to the entire list. So be careful about checking the addresses that show in the SEND TO box of your emails before replying. Thanks! Joan, admin MYERS-L@rootsweb.com
Hi, All- Just a note to let you know that our list has now been migrated to the new system. Joan, admin

Myers (see http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/m/y/e/Dolores-M-Myersterepka/WEBSITE-0001/UHP-0287.html) lived at 75 Russell St, Rochester, NY. He was my mom’s great-grandfather David Robert Myers’ son (see http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/m/y/e/Dolores-M-Myersterepka/WEBSITE-0001/UHP-0074.html). Also per the 1910 Census, William E. Myers had a son William L. Myers, age 11. In the 1930 Census, William L. Myers, age 31, is living with his wife Helen (age 29), son William R. (age 7), and daughter Helen (age 4) at 316 Meigs St, Rochester, NY. Did George A Myers have a brother William, married to Helen, with children as noted? Sincerely, Tom Terepka

Hello, I am new to this list. Researching my ancestor Sarah E. Myers. She was born 1812 in Maryland, the daughter of Samuel Myers and Elizabeth Everhart. She married Frederick Colhouer/Colehour in Baltimore, Maryland. She died 1873 in Baltimore, Maryland. The parents of Samuel were Nickolas Myers and Salome. Any one know this family? I will gladly share any information I have. I found an old cancelled insurance policy listing him as spouse and beneficiary. I know she lived in Pennsylvania for a brief time when she was young. I would like to uncover the mystery of Bernard Bialas. Any information would be appreciated.

There are many spelling Majer, Myers, Mires, Mayer, Maires etc.etc. George Moyer came with his family on the second of three settlements in Culpepper County, Va. He had several sons and they all moved to different places. I believe Cristy Myers did some research on that line several years ago, although, who knows if it's the same folks. It's interesting reading and your names and the right time frame. Good luck

He moved to Sullivan Co., MO around 1850 with a Valentine Myers who is probably his brother. I think his father was an older Henry Myers who lived in the same area where he and Valentine first appear. They had, I think, a sister named Anna Myers who married James Gardner and stayed in Hawkins Co., TN. I descend from a different Henry Myers from Greene Co., TN who is no relation to the ones above.
