He must have died in the 1870's. I show David and Nancy Myers both born around 1828. He in Ohio and her in Indiana. Nancy Myers remarried Aaron Miller on Oct 29, 1880 in Dorchester, Nebraska. They then moved to Wray Colorado in 1893. Is there a buriel plot for David Myers in Dorchester? Or a marriage record in Dorchester, Saline County for Oct 29, 1880? Aaron died on Dec 1 1902 and Nancy shows up on the Colorado 1910 census but not 1920 anywere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.     3. I am searching for information on a JOHN MYERS who married AURILLA PARKER 1876 in Covington LA. I have a copy of the marriage license but have not been able to find any information on him prior to that. Her parents were JAMES PARKER and AMANDA M. KIMBALL. I have information on AMANDA but nothing on JAMES. James and Amanda were married in Covington in 1845. If anyone could give me a lead on either one of these families it would be most graciously appreciated. Thank you in advance Jean

I too am stuck there. I was told my Myers were from Germany originally, but that was prob a few generations before this. At some point they married into native american and AA lines. I think there are many from there. I don't know alot about them but some later were born MD and moved to Ohio areas. There are many, many Myers in the SE areas of OH now. I'm still tracking them down. This puts them near VA where many families they married into were from.     3. I was looking through Ancestry the other day and found someone was looking for my ggrandfather. I tried to e-mail the person but it bounced back. If this person reads this list and is still interested I would like to hear from her. Her name was Sally Wooden and she was looking for Daniel and Jurilda Myers. I filled out some info in her One World Tree hoping she sees it. Needless to say as this is the first time anyone has asked about them. Thanks Helen

It's a Neighbor to Jefferson County WV. Charlestown WV is in Jefferson County and is home to the Washington Family Estate. Berkeley County WV is county next over and home to the Dandridge Family Estate. Since I live here, I am doing research on all local Myers families here that moved to Western PA and then on to Kentucky and New Madrid MO and then finally to Berkeley California.

    3. I've been looking for Elcy Myers for decades now, and am hoping other Myer researchers can help me a little. The only real "proof" that she existed is an I.G.I. record for her marriage on 9 Jun 1829 in Warren County Ohio to Asa Godman. The I.G.I. record lists Asa's last name as Goodman, but its Godman. There were a couple other Elcy Myers, one was born around 1900 if I remember correctly. I've tried researching the 1900 Elcy to see if she was named after my earlier Elcy, but have been unsuccessful. There are lots of possibilities - maybe she was a widow to a Myers when she married my Asa Godman. Maybe she was from one of the Indian tribes, and I'm just not looking in the right place. Who knows. But I'm hoping maybe one of you have a Myers ancestor that was in the Warren County Ohio area, which would give me another path to go down. Here's hoping!
