I'm sending this to let you know that Rootsweb is deep in the process of upgrading its servers. This is going to continue during the next couple of weeks. >From Rootsweb: "The following resources are currently disabled or will be soon, due to the upgrading: any websites beginning www.rootsweb.com (including our main page), websites on Freepages, RootsWeb Surname List (RSL), Archiver (browsable mailing list archives), and mailing lists on lists3 and lists5 (which will also impact list administrator functions for those lists), and most versions of File Manager (online editors). During the transition, Password Central may show some incomplete listings, especially for Post-em Notes." What does this mean to you? It means that some list mail might be delayed in being delivered (don't worry, it won't get lost - just delayed). It also means that I have limited access to the administrative tools and in some cases cannot help with subscribing and unsubscribing, etc. It is one of those up and down situations. Sometimes things work and sometimes they don't. However, know that they are working as fast as they can to straighten out any concerns. Please hang in there and hopefully this will all be settled soon. Thanks for your patience, Emma
