Morning Everyone, A couple of weeks ago I discovered something on google and have been giving it a try. You can set google to send you an automatic news alert on a specific topic. I set it for 3 of the surnames I am especially interested in and thought I would see what happened. It is quite helpful actually. Anytime that surname pops up in any of the newspapers google monitors I get sent a message and a link to that message. I can then go and read the actual text if I want. Now.... granted... I get stuff I am not really interested in but it doesn't take long to figure those out. AND... I don't think I would want to set it for surnames line Smith, Johnson, Jones, Clark, etc.....<g>. I also stayed away from surnames that could also crop up in other ways - like my Street surname.... LOL. But, I chose some not so common names and it is working quite well. So... some of you might want to give it a try. Go to goggle: www.google.com Click on the News tab at the top of the screen. When that screen comes up scroll down a bit and on the left-hand side of the screen will be a link to News Alert. Click on that and follow the directions. Oh... one more very important note. With this as with anything else out there on the web make sure you read all the policies, terms of service, privacy statements, etc. That way you can make an informed decision about participating. Hope you find it helpful. Take care - Emma
