Hello, yesterday I received some new information on my Muller family, whose ancestor reputedly came from the city of Bremen, Germany, to southwest Slovakia, as my great-grandfather, whom I regrettably don't remember, used to tell. The new information I received were told to me by my aunt. My Muller ancestors came from Bremen to Slovakia in 1778 (maybe 1776). They were two brothers, one stayed in Slovakia and the other one went further to Hungary. They were both ovenmakers (they used to build ovens). That's all I have on them. I am still researching a conenction to the family in Germany, so far I have prooved my ancestors back only to 1814, when one of them was born but still in the village of Borsky Peter, Slovakia. Does anyone of you have any tips or suggestions where to search - for example for their permission to leave the city of Bremen (I assume that at that times they weren't allowed to move freely). I appreciate any help. Regards, Marek Blahus in the Czech Republic
