She was born at sea 10 July 1885 aboard the SS New Belgian. Unfortunately we have never been able to find such a ship by that name that entered NY in 1885. This Muller family went to Outagamie County Wisconsin. When Caspar took out his intention papers to naturalize, he stated he was from Germany. It is possible that at that time Eger was part of Germany. Today, Eger is now Cheb in the Czech republic. Could this be why you are having so much trouble determining where your Mullers were from in Germany? Pauline
