Possibly had a younger sister Henriette (or a girlfriend--hidden from my grandmother). I have some very old carte de vistes of the family circa 1850---1900---unidentified, some taken in Frankfurt. Also have an original oil of the Countess Rouget (supposedly), an ancestor, a beautiful portrait, but unsigned & undated. Gustav was a notorious tale teller, a "Diamond Jim Brady" type. He supposedly came to America to escape the Kaiser's draft. He had the umlat too. Any connections? Thanks
