Your g g grandfather, Johann and my gg grandmother were 17 years apart in age. If they were closely related, he either was a very young father, or else he was her older sibling, which may be more likely. It happens like that in those big families. Do you know Johann's parents? Perhaps the Elisabeth that was his sister is the Elisabeth in my family tree. (Wouldn't that be a treat!) Have you ever accessed any of the records from the Lutheran Cemetery - I have and they can be quite helpful. (And cost $) Do you know his death date? Of course, Muller is a more common name; and it is a big cemetery with lots of German families buried there. We could, of course, not be related at all. Elisabeth; Johann, George - all common names. I know nothing about her family - if she was from a large family or not. Do you know any addresses from census records, etc or your Johann? Do you know when he came to this country?
