Hello List, I admit it--I'm just about whipped out with this ancestor. This is my last shot. Is it even within the realm of possibility that records survive for a funeral director in Butte c.1907. My ancestor was conked on the head during a fight in a saloon in Butte and died from the injury. I had tons of stuff on this, newspaper articles, death certificate, loads of old family letters, etc. One of the articles says that the funeral director notified "a brother and a sister both living in the East". The funeral director was Joseph Richards, Butte MT. The sister is the one I'm looking for. She married, I don't know husband's name, location. Any suggestions?
