Hi I don't know if this will help or not. My mother (born 1917) and her two brothers were from Butte but were placed in an orphanage in Deer Lodge. They weren't orphans but were put there because of abusive step fathers. I'm not sure if it was Catholic but my family was. Hope it helps. She was there somewhere around 1930. Maybe a little before but not much after as she married in 1932 at age 15. Dianne
