In the Montana section of the name list to a book by K-G Olin "Vad gjorde farfar i Klippiga bergen?" (What did Grandpa do in th Rocky Mountains?) I found a John Peterson, 44 years old, bartender, South Wyoming Str. in Butte. Souce: 1910 Census, microfilm T624 836. There is no Petter Persson/Petterson but a reference to a book "Crime: Murders from 1894-1994", Butte Silver Bow Public Archives. The book of KG Olin has a whole chapter on life in Butte. Lycka till!
