William Ryan and my mother, Mary Ida Leeper are the parents of my younger half-sister, Patty Ryan (b. 1938-39). I'm hoping to find Patty, although it seems impossible at this late date. She never knew I existed. I was born in 1929, when my mother was married to my father, Jack Fontaine. I saw William Ryan in army uniform in 1946, when he visited my mother. He later lived in Washington State. It seems more probable that the William Ryan that my mother knew may have been the son of the William and Helen Ryan you mentioned. If he was my mother's age, he would have been born about 1910-14. I wish there were a way to locate my half-sister, Patty. I realize you are seeking information about George Parlin, but perhaps if there is a connection, we may separately find information that will help each other.
