Thompson was born 1870 in Greeneville Tennessee. The family was from there for many years. G. N. Thompson left my grandmother about 1913 with five children and headed for parts unknown. An uncle of mine told me he had heard that Newt had died in Montana. So, I'm just grabbing at straws and not getting the one I want. Thanks. KB
