I was surfing the net when this site came up. Since I am always trying to find out information on my beloved great-grandfather,Philip Treglown from Butte, Montana, I ran a query on his name and your message with my great grand fathers and great-grandmother's name was right before my eyes. As I said, I am new to this but am very, very interested in finding any Treglown relatives. My mother, Shirley Treglown is the daughter of John Treglown and Juanita Kennedy both of Butte, Montana. John was the only son of Philip Treglown and Ann Green. My grandpa, John, was a very handsome and charming man. He played farm league baseball with Satchel Paige and had a smile that would steal your heart. He had one sister. Grandpa and Grandma Treglown loved each other tremendously and lived a long and prosperous life together. My mother was raised by her grandparents and is a wealth of knowledge on the Butte relatives. I! was born and raised in Butte (Until I was about 6 and then we moved to Billings.) and was lucky to have known my Greatgranddad Treglown. He was a pharmacist and loved gardening. As a child, we'd spend hours together planting flowers and discussing natural herbs and their medicinal qualities. Grandma Treglown would tell him "Phil, she doesn't have any idea what you are talking about" and Grandpa would get that special twinkle in his eyes and say "But some day she will remember hearing about it..and then remember that she heard it from her old greatgranddad." As a side note..for history buffs, as I said, John Treglown, my grandfather and Philip and Ann's son, married Juanita Kennedy, also of Butte, Montana. Juanita is the great niece of the infamous, Judge Clancy, the hanging Judge of the Copper King Wars...and that is a whole different story. If anyone is interested, there is a wonderful love and courtship story between Philip Treglown and Ann Green.
