Her father, Jacob Maunula, from Finland, mother, Albina Niemi (born December 10, 1883?) from Sweden. They met in Montana and married there. Moved to upstate New York sometime between 1900-1910 (I think). He died in 1946, she in 1968. He was a border living in a house owned by Albina's sister. Can find no record of them coming through Ellis Island. Funny enough, my married name is Johnston.
