I have searched the 1920 & 1930 U.S. Census Indexes and I am unable to find a Jesse James Fout, Jesse Fout, James Fout, J.J. Fout, or a Valerie/Valarie Fout/Fouts anywhere in the U.S. I also cannot find these names in any death indexes. I also searched the Butte City Directories for 1952 and 1957, and there was no one with the surname of "Fout" listed. Sorry I couldn't have been of more help. You might try the Butte-Silver Bow County Archives as they have an abundance of Butte records available.
