Her youngest brother was born in Butte in1919 and died there during the flu outbreak. The family soon returned to Illinois. I have some pictures I believe take ofthem in Walkerville. It looks like a poor area. Is there anyone on this list which has a history of this neighborhood? I also remember her mentioning a Butchertown. Her father was a farmer but worked in the mines.
