I found a John Peterson, 44 years old, bartender, South Wyoming Str. in Butte. Souce: 1910 Census, microfilm T624 836. There is no Petter Persson/Petterson but a reference to a book "Crime: Murders from 1894-1994", Butte Silver Bow Public Archives. The book of KG Olin has a whole chapter on life in Butte. Lycka till! It is alledge that he hade somekind of a saloon or bar in Butte from since about 1890 until his death in 1912. His brother Petter was as they say in Sweden, shot dead in that saloon or bar in 1897. I am looking for a connection of anyone who might have knowledge of a Thomas P Hoban, b,1870 (?) in PA or NY, wife: Ellen Francis Gannon, b,1870 in PA. Both died in Butte. He: Dec 8,1912. She: Dec 27,1909. They had two, maybe three children. One of those was my grandfather,but given up to a Frank and Winifred Rohan in Butte. He was born Nov 1, 1908. The information that I have been able to get, is that Ellen only lived in Butte for four years until her death

Anne Driscoll was born about 1896 in Michigan or Montana. Charles was born about 1893. Anne & Charles lived with their parents, James and Catherine? Driscoll, in Butte, Montana. [married to] Gladys M. [John's occupation] Switchman, Great Northern Railway. [owned own home at] 1007 Oregon Avenue Peter Julius and his wife Anne were not listed. The current phone book for Butte does not list any Klinkee's. Hope the above info helps.

Woolley Studio in Springfield, MO, probably taken in the early 1900's #5 - Margaret WEINER "Aunt Fannie BARTON WEINER's daughter, Asa N. BARTON's sister's daughter", taken at the Ferguson Studio (no location), probably taken in the 1890's or early 1900's, subject is an infant #6 - Elmer A. BARTON "age 4 1/2 years" & Lester A. BARTON "1 year", no location, probably taken in the late 1890's or early 1900's #7 - Alexander H. PAISLEY "father of Norma and Elmer C. PAISLEY" taken at the A.J. Dusseau Studio in Butte, Montana, probably taken in the 1880's or 1890's, subject appears to be in his 60's Additional photographs gathered from the same source belong to the GEORGE, HUMMEL, and GWINN families coming from Los Angeles, CA; Faribault, Minn; Anthony, Kansas; Additional unidentified photographs come from Tioga, PA; Conneaut, Ohio; and Chicago, Illinois. I am hoping to find someone from this family so that this precious group of photographs can be returned to their rightful place with family.
