I would like to thank everyone who helped me with my questions about Timberline which for persons who asked me, is in Gallatin Co. between Bozeman and Livingston and was a coal mining town about 1895. I have not got round yet to thanking you personally. If anyone has any information about the mine workers there or my Jacques familly that emigrated there from the NE of England, I would be pleased to here from you. William was the first go go there possibly with his wife margaret. His daughter Mary died in the states. His son Richard was there about 1909 and Thomas was also born tin the States and died in England after suffering shellshock from the World Wars. Yours kindly Paul Broughton

Michael fell down a mine shaft and was killed we were told sometime in 1919, and Minnie gave birth to our Father, John William Bowens on Nov. 19, 1919, but then died a few months later.
