An uncle of mine told me he had heard that Newt had died in Montana. So, I'm just grabbing at straws and not getting the one I want. Thanks. KB

    1. MAGGIE CAMPBELL WHITE
    2. Hello All, I am new to the Silver Bow search. I am searching for information on my ggrandmother's sister and her descendants. Her name was Maggie CAMPBELL WHITE. She was born 6/10/1878 in Girard, KS to Duncan H. CAMPBELL and Mary E. JENKS CAMPBELL. Mary and Duncan also had a son, John M. Campbell, last known living in Ft. Smith, AR in 1925. Mary was Duncan's 2nd wife. Duncan and his first wife, Margery MOYERS/MYERS/MEYERS had 3 children, William who died in a fire with his mother at the church Christmas program, Harry Jacob, who was County Sheriff in Craig Co, OK and Encie Depew Campbell FRANKENFIELD, Pittsburg, KS. Maggie lived in San Francisco, CA in 1915, but at the time of Duncan's death in 1925, she was living in Butte, MT. I don't know anything about her husband or children. I have discovered a Duncan Campbell living down the street from a Maggie White and husband in a 1920s era Butte city directory. Her father was the 3rd Duncan Campbell in succession, however, he did not name any of his sons Duncan. His father had a brother, Ebenezer B. Campbell who had many children in Tioga Co. PA, which makes me wonder if HE named one of his children Duncan and they all came west together. You see there are many questions, as with any search, that are unanswered. LOL Family lore says that Duncan's father (Maggie's grandfather) was a twin. His twin brother died in route from Johnstown, Renfrewshire, Scotland when he was, allegedly, hit by a barrel filled with biscuits. I look forward to hearing from anyone who knows these people or their descendants. Cindy Frankenfield

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/VNB.2ACE/583 Message Board Post: Does anyone have any information on the Dunnes of Mountrath, Laois (Leix), Ireland? I'm specifically looking for the following family, but any Dunnes in Mountrath will do - I'm sure there will be aunts, uncles and the like: Patrick Dunne married Mary Flanagan (Flanigan) about 1861. They had 6 children: Catherine Dunne (b-Sep 20, 1865), Finton Dunne (b-Feb 11, 1868), Anne Dunne (b-Oct 9, 1871), Elizabeth (no birth date yet), John Dunne (no birth date yet but became a priest and lived to be 105), and Marie Dunne (no birth date yet). The family is Catholic. I believe the parents Patrick and Mary, as well as Finton and John remained in Ireland. Marie moved to London and married a Ronan. Catherine, Anne and Elizabeth came to the U.S. about 1889. Any information will be so very appreciated. Tricia

    1. Pat Connolly 1917 World Class Wrestler
    2. Hello listers, I am trying to find any and all information about Pat Connolly. He was born in Co. Galway Ireland, and wrestled in Butte, Montana. He was listed in articles as a British Citizen. He wrestled Ed "Strangler" Lewis on December 3, 1916, and on either January 13, or January 15, 1917 Pat Connolly and Yussif Hussane battled to a 2 1/2 hour draw in Butte, Montana. This information was taken from The Wrestling Datebook, 1915 thru 1920. Pat also wrestled Ed"Strangler" Lewis on November 30, 1916 in Billings, Montana. On January 15, 1917, Pat Connolly had a niece born in Boston, MA, and she was to be Christened on January 28, 1917. Pat traveled by railroad to the Christening, and somewhere between Butte and Boston he died on the way. Some say he was poisoned, some say shot, etc. It still remains a mystery. I am hoping that someone may know of this man, or heard this story. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you one and all Mary
