He never reconciled with his father, Wilfred. I am looking for anyone related to Wilfred Nevin, so I can trace my ancestry and make connections with long-lost relatives. Thus, when someone needed proof of birth, they had to bring substantiating evidence, such as baptism records, school attendance, etc. to the courthouse and a Delayed Birth Certificate would be issued. I suspect that there was no more information contained in the first Delayed Birth Certificate than contained in the second. I have a Certificate of Date and Place of Birth and Parentage for my grandfather Willard Jay Jackson, b. 1/14/1890 in Butte, Silverbow Co. Montana. It was transcribed from the Original Delayed Birth Certificate. It was obtained in 1944 when my grandfather, apparently needing his birth certificate, discovered he was not born in Leadville, Co. He must have had other information that led him to Butte, Montana. Would the entire Original Delayed Birth Certificate have more information than what is on the Certificate I already have which just gives birthdate and place and parents names. If so, does anyone know if I can get the entire version or will I just get another abbreviated version?
