My Great Grandpa Pierre "Pete" Louquet filed for land outside of Avon, in Powell County; but where do I find these records! I did this for Carbon County, which they were filed in district of Bozeman for other Great Grandpa and once I had the filing place, I sent the correct form and fee to the NARA and got a copy of those land records. Please advise for Avon area, (Helmsville?) Powell County, MT. Or was it Missoula or Deer Lodge??? Thanks, Nancy in Billings, MT
