The property, however, was located in Lake County. The city of Polson is the County Seat of Lake County. Go to the following link to see a map of Lake County, with Flathead Lake featured. Click on "Resources" and call the Clerk & Recorder to see where these records might be located. Also, you can contact the Bureau of Land Management office in the area and see about purchasing a map that shows the sections.
