I have listed with question marks that Robert James Brennan moved from Montana, married a Della Wittenberger and they had a daughter named, Linda Darlene Brennan born 15 Mar 1950. I have no other info on Robert James, however I will search for what ever I can. What took Caroline Pauline Kuenzli to Montana were her Hauswirth cousins who were involved with the Anaconda & several other mines in the area. She meet James A Brennan through her visits with the Hauswirths. I turned all my Hauswirth information over to the Montana Genealogy Society that went back to about 1550. I have no idea if they let if out for publication. At that time, (about 25 years ago) it was their oldest holding and there was also a Hauswirth that was a Mayor of one of the commuunities. He never contacted me or thanked me for the donation, however, the Society was most greatful. Caroline Pauline Kuenzli born: 29 Aug 1875, Town of Pewaukee, Waukesha, Wisconsin - She was the 6th of 8 children all born in Waukesha County, Wisconsin I also had noted that James A Brennan immigrated to the United States in the year 1889 from I believe a 1920 census and was in the US about 43 years. His occupation was listed as a farmer. Caroline no longer was teaching. The Kuenzli family name spelling changed after they immigrated to the United States: 25 Apr 1854. The original spelling was "Kunzli" It was fun tracing them as I had to look up both spellings. The Kuenzli family was an asset to the pioneers in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Yes, the maps are of interest to me as they may turn up some of the mines that the Hauswirths had: They were a family of adverture. And, also add them to my Kuenzli information. Is there some way I may contact you direct??? via email rather than go through the message boards? Have a terrific day and I will forward whatever I find on Robert James Brennan> Thank you, Nancy Stuhlman [email protected] Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
