She was born July 31, 1906 in Los Angeles, the daughter of Peter and Eva Kost. She attended Minnesota Teachers College and went on to teach in a one-room school. She married Walter Schriver on Feb. 6, 1929. She took great pleasure in her family and friends. Ramona also enjoyed gardening, crocheting, fishing with her beloved husband, playing cards and games with family and the cherished time spent with grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter in 1988, daughter Marilyn in 1985 and two sons, David in 1979 and Richard in 2003. Her family includes two daughters Jean Flink and her husband Ken, of Butte and Joyce Stevens and her husband John of Missoula; 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Christ The King Catholic Church on Saturday, May 8, 2004, at 11 a.m., followed by a reception at church. The family suggests memorials be made to the Christ The King Building Project, 1400 Gerald Ave., Missoula, MT 59801. Cremation is under the care of Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory.
