HARTMAN', a Missoula, MT pioneer who crossed the plains to Montana in the early 70's.", according to a death notice of his son, my Grandfather, 'CHARLES E. HARTMAN', published (in Missoula newspaper clipping) on June 25, 1922. I know there is a 'HARTMAN' street in Missoula, which is presumably referring to GEORGE B. not CHARLES E. My father, GEORGE VENON HARTMAN, was 10 years old when this was published, but died several years ago at age 90. The clipping (see .jpg attachments) refers to my Grandfather's Aunt, MRS. HENRY C. MYERS, who also (apparently) was a "pioneer resident of" Missoula. I have some photos, letters and clippings from this era, but very little to try to understand personal histories and events. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
