Their children were Frank Tillman (born to Margaret by previous marriage) Elizabeth (Bettie) both born in Mississippi, William, George, (Charles) Edward, Irene, John Raymond (Jackie), born in Maryland. I have located them on both the 1920 and 1930 Baltimore, Maryland census. But am now having difficulty finding them in the 1910 Baltimore census. I have a rough est. of birth dates for all listed, as well as, more information. Charles Edward was my father. I would love to make contact with other Smith relatives out there. So if any of these names ring a bell, please contact me at [email protected] Thanking you in advance, Lorene

Missoula, July 20. --- Joseph D. Allen, deputy sheriff here, has received word from a buddy of his son that Staff Sgt. Harry J. Allen, AAF, was killed when his Liberator bomber crashed in a raid over Germany April 4. T/Sgt. Charles Cupp, the only surviving member of this crew, wrote that the plane ran into a barrage between Hamburg and Berlin and was literally shot in two. The crew baled out, but only Cupp got down safely. Sergeant Allen had been shot down twice before. Cupp was taken to a Nazi prison camp and it was only after his liberation that he was able to communicate with the relatives of other members of the Liberator crew. Surviving besides Sergeant Allen's father is a brother, Staff Sgt. William Allen, with the army in Europe. Sgt. Harry Allen attended school here and was a graduate of St. Francis Xavier school. He entered the AAF in December, 1943. ------------------------ The transcription of this death notice is provided as a courtesy only. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/INB.2ACE/1428 Message Board Post: I am looking for any kind of information on Robert L. Hage. He was from Missoula, Montana, Son of Leonerd and Blanche Betts Hage. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in the early 1040's and went to England to become a bomber pilot with the Royal Air Force. He was killed in action on 14 september 1942 while serving with 26 Operational Training Unit. He was probably an rather experienced pilot and was an instructor with this unit. When Bomber Commands need for planes and crew increased, planes from training units were sometimes sent on operational missions. Pilot Officer Hage also flew on the famous 1000 bomber raid against Cologne in 1942. He is buried in my hometown of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Any information about the life of Robert Hage would be more than welcome. Thanks in Advance, Stevin

Hi list. I`m looking for Peder C. Bjorge ,born 19 Jan 1879 who emigrated to North Dakota in 1906. He was then a married man ,and was never heard of again at least not in Norway. He enlisted in the US army 12 Sep 1918 ,and then he lived in Bonner ,Missoula County ,Montana ,and his wife`s name is listed as Mary M. So....he was married to two women at the same time ,the first wife Pauline lived in Norway with their 3 sons who neither of came to America. I`m very interesting in knowing if they had children. I have no census info on Peder. When he enlisted in the army he is mentioned as Petter Carlson Bjorge. I may be that he died in the WW1. I don`t know when he and Mary married each other ,but since he emigrated in 1906 he should be in the 1910 census. Hope to hear from someone. Erik in Norway
