She had a sister Catherine b 1860 and I think a brother William George. Her father's name was David. I wouldn't have connected this with Donegaore but I had an e,mail exchange with a lady in Belfast via Genes Reunited who said that she was descended from a Catherine Taggart and her grandfather was illegitimate. The family had come from Donegore but had moved to the Shankill/Crumlin Road area of Belfast. I haven't been avble to establish a connection but there is certainly circumstantial evidence. The Genes Reunited woman said her grandfather was born in 1875 which would have made Catherine very young but that doesn't make it impossible. Catherine didn't marry. She was living with my g grandmother in the 1901 Census. David Taggart was a warehouse manager. Does any of this ring any bells. I can get you the contact of the lady in Belfast. David Quinn

If you have any pictures of Sadie Foust Spencer, Arthur Spencer, Clarence, Gracie and others , I would very much like to include them in our family history that will be published. I have the homestad picture of the Fromberg homestad house that was sent back to Ohio to Mary Amsbaugh Spencer`s sister, with horses and family, and Mary seated in the buggy. I have Arthurs will of 1932, and many records from the farm in Wilkens Co., MN. in the 1890s. This is a really interesting history of people making it all work, grasshoppers or not. And if you should ever decide to do a dna study and are male, you will find you are directly related to the four Spencer brothers who came to New England in 1633, and we have all the fill in on that story too done by someone else. Did Grace Spencer Wiedman Yahn have a family? Does anyone kno! w which Wheelers may have a photo of Lee Spencer (I just got a picture of his grave in Golden Gate National Cem. this morning). Now I have found Charlottie`s grave near Lee at Golden Gate also. If you would like to help with photos to round out the history of this family, Please contact me while I am still capable of doing more on this project. Best Wishes, Wendell Spencer Spencer dna project 23773.
