Searching for descendants of a Norwegian family that supposedly went to Montana in 1882. John (b1854) and Hansine (b1850) Hoyem and children George (1872) Pauline (1874) Ragnvald (1878) and Jon (1881) left the Trondheim area of Norway in Jan 1882. Original destination was St Paul but Bygdebok information imply Montana shortly thereafter. Although emigration records spelled the name Hoiem, I believe Hoyem was used in the USA
